Grace Kelly in a Scarf Ascot Knot

Scarves are a key accessory in my wardrobe. In fact, I’m one of those people who love to pair a scarf with a t-shirt in the summertime—That’s how much I love scarves!

One of the great things about adding scarves to your wardrobe is that a scarf allows you to add quality detailing to an otherwise plain outfit. It’s a great accessory to throw on when you’re leaving the house and unsure of what to pair with your outfit.

Additionally, my neck is a sensitive area in the cold winter months (sore throats galore!) and I’m always eager to protect this area from the harsh winter months. A good, high-quality cashmere scarf accomplishes this for me.

Below I’ve put together three capsule outfits to inspire you to incorporate scarves into your everyday look!

This look is probably my go to “street look” for everyday. Gold is really my color now, and I love the pairing of the Steve Madden leather boots with the gold detailing, gold Michael Kors watch, and a pair of gold hoops to top off this classic look!

V-necks are wardrobe staples of mine because I love showing off my neck area. The gray cashmere scarf  highlights my neck region and is a great neutral addition that contrasts well with the gold.

This look is a really smart look that I could see myself meeting clients in. I always love a touch of “street” with any look, so the silver hoops and over the knee boots achieve this sort of hip hop appeal! The black cashmere scarf is to give this look an understated accessory. The gold iPhone plays well to my love of gold accents.

This look is so cute! For the colder months, I love a black belted quality coat over a black wrap dress. Gold pearl studs, and nude Jimmy Choo pumps add a classy touch to this outfit. Pair a cute pink cashmere scarf to keep you looking cute but warm! I also love this Yves Saint Laurent black clutch purse!
