Taking a Page Out of Warren Buffett’s Idea Behind Philanthropy

Philanthropy has always been a great passion of mine. I think of philanthropy as a way to ‘pay it forward’ in a sense. One of my biggest role models in the philanthropy world is Warren Buffett. I mean, just this year he pledged to give away 99% of his wealth to Philanthropy causes.

Warren has the idea that he could best help others by amassing a large amount of wealth in the first part of his life, and then donating these earnings in the latter part of his life.

Hoping to follow his same philosophy, I’m currently eager to learn about and become involved in some new philanthropic causes this holiday season. Feel free to send me a message at Tascha.Halliburton@live.com, or just write a comment below describing a cause that is close to your heart. I look forward to hearing about them. Thanks!

In 2015, I had the great opportunity to be a director for a campaign which raised money to purchase school uniforms for Liberian Children during the Ebola Crisis. Shaq represented our campaign.
